Uzbekistan and Belarus leaders held a meeting at the Amirsoy Mountain Resort
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, who is in Uzbekistan on an official visit, visited the Amirsoy Mountain Resort.
During the talks held yesterday in Tashkent, the heads of state agreed to continue active exchanges in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, including in sports and tourism. Following the meetings, among other documents, a Cooperation Program in Sports and an Action Plan in Tourism for 2024-2025 were signed.
In recent years, large-scale projects for developing sports and tourism infrastructure have been implemented in Uzbekistan. Among them is the All-Season Mountain Resort Amirsoy in Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region, which about 4 million tourists have visited over the past three years.
During their visit to this world-class complex, the heads of state got acquainted with the conditions for athletes and visitors and exchanged views on expanding tourism exchanges between the two countries.
Sincere communication continued on the ski slope, where the leaders skied together.
