Obtaining documents from Uzbekistan


To obtain documents from the Republic of Uzbekistan, citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and foreign citizens can apply directly to the archives of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as diplomatic missions and consular offices of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad.

List of documents for obtaining of documents from the Republic of Uzbekistan through the Consular Section of the Embassy:

1. A completed electronic form via this portal – https://consulate.mfa.uz/docs/index?language=ru (2 copies).
2. Copy of the passport  (2 copies).
3. Consular fees – 30 US dollars (for citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan) and 70 US dollars (for foreign citizens). Consular fees are accepted in the form of “Money Order”, “Pay to the “The Embassy of Uzbekistan”.

The originals of labor and pension books, as well as military ID, cannot be obtained through Consular Section.

Birth Certificate of a minor child is obtained by his/her legal representative. Death Certificates can only be obtained by the relatives of the deceased.

The consular fee cannot be returned if the documents sought by the archival institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan are not found.

THE PROCEDURE OF SENDING DOCUMENTS BY MAIL.

To send the document to the applicant by mail, he/she must send a prepaid return envelope with a shipping label pasted. We strongly recommend using the services of Priority USPS or FedEx (“E” – “EXPRESS” shipping label) sample Shipping Label (please do don use International Air Waybill).

On the shipping label must be indicated as the SENDER the Recipient’s data – full name, address, telephone number, and credit card.

The Consular Section of the Embassy does not use the services of other postal services, like DHL, UPS, Express Post, etc.

The Consular Section of the Embassy is not responsible for the loss of documents sent by mail.
