Letter of Attorney
The Power of Attorney issued by an individual for the implementation of various forms of activity on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan shall be notarized in the Consular section.
The Power of Attorney must be signed exclusively in the presence of the Consul.
If the Power of Attorney provides for the transfer of rights to conduct transactions with real estate (house, apartment, etc.) in Uzbekistan, it is necessary to provide copies of documents confirming the rights of the principal to own and dispose of this type of property (warrant, house plan, books, etc.)
For issuing the Power of Attorney to use the vehicle (with or without the right of selling), it is required to submit a copy of the certificate of registration of the vehicle.
If the property belongs to the person on the right of joint ownership with other persons, their written consent is required. In accordance with existing requirements, their written consents are submitted to the Consular section together with a Power of Attorney and are subject to certification.
The Power of Attorney is issued in Uzbek (Russian). When completing the procedure for notarizing the letter of attorney, the identity of the principal is to be established on the basis of identity documents (passport).
The consular fee for notarization of the Power of Attorney – 30 US dollars.
35 US dollars – for the certification of the statement (consent) for the management, sale, exchange, rent, etc. of property in Uzbekistan owned by a relative or other person, as well as for obtaining a passport for a child and for his departure from Uzbekistan abroad.
Processing of the Power of Attorney for the right to drive vehicles without selling – 170 US dollars.
Processing of the Power of Attorney for the right to manage vehicles with selling – 320 US dollars.
