Documents signed to deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership
Following the fruitful negotiations between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, a solid package of bilateral documents was adopted.
The heads of state signed a Joint Statement on further deepening and enhancing the comprehensive strategic partnership.
During the state visit, 16 documents were also signed, including:
– Intergovernmental Agreement on resort and recreational facilities located on the territory of the Issyk-Kul region of the Kyrgyz Republic;
– Protocol on introducing amendments to the Intergovernmental Agreement on mutual trips of citizens;
– Protocol on the completion of bilateral negotiations on the entry of the Republic of Uzbekistan into the World Trade Organization;
– Protocol on cooperation in construction activities;
– Protocol on cooperation in labor, employment and migration;
– Protocol on cooperation in culture and art;
– Protocol on cooperation in public service;
– Action plan to increase mutual trade volumes for 2024-2030;
– Plan of practical measures to develop cooperation in physical culture and sports for 2024-2026;
– Action plan for the development of cooperation in agriculture and food supply for 2024-2026;
– Action plan for the development of cooperation between the cities of Tashkent and Bishkek for 2024-2026;
– Memorandum between the Institute of Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Institute of Strategic Initiatives under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and others.
