The cultural and historical commonality of the two peoples, achieved over many centuries, was emphasized.

The parties, noting with satisfaction the growing dynamics of contacts, emphasized the need for implementing promising joint projects and programs.

Practical steps were noted to enhance interaction in trade, innovation and high technology, investment, industrial cooperation, transport and communications, tourism, and cultural and humanitarian exchanges.

Views were exchanged on the current issues of the regional agenda.

The meeting was held in a warm and trusting atmosphere of constructive dialogue.
