We are thrilled to announce the “Echoes of Uzbekistan in America” – a photography and
painting contest. This is your chance to showcase your creativity and capture the beauty, heritage, and culture of Uzbekistan in your own unique way.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 Who can participate? All US citizens and compatriots living in the US are invited to showcase their creativity.

📆 Competition timeline: The competition will continue until August 25, 2023.

✅ Judging criteria: Photos will be evaluated based on their popularity in social networks, particularly the number of likes received on Facebook. Remember to tag the Embassy’s social media account, @uzembassydc, in your posts to ensure they’re considered for the competition. Publication on other social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram) is very welcomed.

🏆 Prizes: Popular works will receive well-deserved recognition by being featured in an online gallery, as well as in exhibition at the Library of US Congress on the occasion of the 32nd Independence of Uzbekistan.
A trip to majestic Uzbekistan will be awarded to the photo and painting that gets the most likes.
