We are thrilled to announce the “Echoes of Uzbekistan in America” – a photography and
painting contest. This is your chance to showcase your creativity and capture the beauty, heritage, and culture of Uzbekistan in your own unique way.

?‍?‍?‍? Who can participate? All US citizens and compatriots living in the US are invited to showcase their creativity.

? Competition timeline: The competition will continue until August 25, 2023.

✅ Judging criteria: Photos will be evaluated based on their popularity in social networks, particularly the number of likes received on Facebook. Remember to tag the Embassy’s social media account, @uzembassydc, in your posts to ensure they’re considered for the competition. Publication on other social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram) is very welcomed.

? Prizes: Popular works will receive well-deserved recognition by being featured in an online gallery, as well as in exhibition at the Library of US Congress on the occasion of the 32nd Independence of Uzbekistan.
A trip to majestic Uzbekistan will be awarded to the photo and painting that gets the most likes.
