President Karimov Receives the Outgoing U.S. Ambassador
On Monday at the Oqsaroy, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov received George Krol, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America, who has been completing his diplomatic mission in our country.
The head of our state underlined the positive dynamics of the Uzbek-American relations in all spheres the two nations share interest. Islam Karimov said he appreciated George Krolís personal contribution to the steadfast consolidation of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States.
In his turn, the American diplomat thanked the head of our state for a warm reception and noted that during his job in Uzbekistan he witnessed important political developments and effective transformation in the economy, social sector and other areas. That promotes the country to the rank of promising partners in demand in the international arena.
President Karimov and Ambassador Krol exchanged views also on other issues of interest for our two countries.
