GM Uzbekistan starts to ship RAVON R2 cars to Russia
GM Uzbekistan, an Uzbek-US joint venture, started to supply RAVON R2 automobiles to Russian, an official website of Ravon said.
According to Ravon, the consumers will receive their cars by the end of May 2016.
GM Uzbekistan plans to realize about 2,500 cars of Ravon R2 model (Chevrolet Spark) in Russia in 2016.
RAVON R2 has new design of exterior and interior and equipped with economic engine 1.25-l B-DOHC and automatic transmission of new generation. The model has improved noise insulation, updated dashboard, audio system with MP3, USB, AUX, Bluetooth support.
The car has safety airbags, system of electronic steering management, ABS system, etc. In future, the standard model will include system of extreme reaction at emergencies, which will inform rescue services on accident.
Soon, GM Uzbekistan will also begin to supply sedan Nexia (T250) to Russia. The model is realized in Uzbekistan as Chevrolet Nexia and will be exported to main markets as Ravon Nexia R3.
New Nexia model will have new transmission and improved security system, which will include airbags, safety belt, ISOFIX, ABS, etc. This model will be also equipped with extreme reaction system at accidends.
GM Uzbekistan will continue to expand its dealers network Ravon and update model line with launch of production of Ravon R4 model. This year, Ravon brand will be launched in key CIS markets, including in Kazakhstan.
