Hungarian delegation got acquainted with the activities of the bicameral parliament in Uzbekistan
In the Legislative Chamber and the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan were held meetings with the delegation of Hungary, led by National Assembly Chairman Laszlo Kever.
During the negotiations, it was noted that cooperation between Uzbekistan and Hungary is developing in all areas, including in the parliamentary sphere, as an important legal basis for which serve the agreements reached during the meeting of the Presidents.
The guests were informed in detail about the activities of the bicameral parliament of Uzbekistan. It was noted that, the Concept of further deepening democratic reforms and formation of civil society in the country, initiated by President Islam Karimov, serves as an important guideline in improving the legislative branch, the lawmaking process, that meet modern requirements and democratic principles.
The sides exchanged views on further development of cooperation between the higher legislative bodies of the two countries.
