Experts discuss prospects of consulting services.
Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan held a round table on the further development of consulting services in the country.
In the current market conditions, consulting services are an essential element necessary for normal functioning and development of the business. No serious business solution is taken without attraction of economists, lawyers, marketing specialists working individually or with consulting firms.
As Alisher Shayhov, chairman of Commerce and Industry Chamber noted, the improvement of domestic consulting companies and their efficiency will enhance the development of small businesses and private entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan, will make it more flexible and mobile. Therefore, consulting support issues are extremely relevant today.
Consulting services provide a detailed analysis of the situation in the affairs of a company, which includes development of effective recommendations to improve future performance and financial and managerial efficiency of the company. This approach allows businessmen to look at the situation at the company from different perspectives, take a more balanced and objective assessment. Thus, the round table discussions emphasized on issues that may contribute to the further development of professional consulting services market in the country.
Experts say that any company faces with the management challenges. Typically, they occur with vigorous growth or stagnation of business, changing market and other factors. At such times, Uzbek entrepreneurs need professional assessments, which will point out the reasons for the changes in the company and the ways out of difficult situations. During the event, experts were also discussed issues of improving the legislative framework of the consulting services market, options for exchange of information available in the databases of consulting companies, relevant ministries and agencies, as well as the involvement of local consulting companies in international tender committees.
