INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN SPHERE OF EDUCATION IN TASHKENT
Demands of Economy Sectors Is a Guideline One university, engineering-technological and engineering-pedagogical institutes operate in Namangan region. The Program on Modernization of Economic-Technical Capacities of Higher Educational Institutions and Cardinal Improvement in Training Specialists for 2011-2016 has become an incentive for their development. Complete overhaul of buildings, beautification of adjacent territories, equipment of rooms with computers, electronic boards, systems “Teacher 60”, renewal of training laboratories, establishment of new contacts with foreign partners – all this favors the strengthening of positions of higher educational institutions as centers for preparation of young specialists and reliable partners of enterprises and organizations of the economy sectors. In modern style Today higher educational institutions of the region are getting ready for participation in the fifth Republican Fair of Innovation Ideas, Technologies and Projects that is to be held in spring. It is expected that they altogether will represent about fifty works. Besides, Namanganis promise to demonstrate the results of brainwork of young scholars and innovators, because they have what to show. Here are some examples. At the day of arrival of UT correspondents in the Engineering-Pedagogical Institute there has been organized the exhibition of models made by students studying at the faculty of Construction of Buildings. Students have demonstrated the project of houses of the improved layout meant for construction of new settlements, offered their version of further beautification of the institute’s territory. Works in “modern” style were also quite interesting, including the children’s recreation park and cutting-edge restaurant-café in the form of open flower. “The region’s governing body knows about each of these developments. We aspire to put these developments into practical implementation,” underscored the vice-rector Sobirjon Razzoqov. In many ginneries located in Namangan region they plan to introduce the technology of storing raw cotton with the use of solar energy. Al started with when two years ago the associate professor at the Engineering-Technological Institute Turakhon Mamatov was asked for help from Islam Kamilov, currently the student of the fourth course, to finish the idea for its practical implementation. “I could not refuse the requirement of this young constructor,” admits Turakhon Mamatov. Today, our technology is in demand in the innovation technologies market. As, if to use this technology, cotton stored in the bottom of bales will never turn yellow. There are not a few scholars keeping to develop ideas of their tutors. Thus, discoveries in the field of study of alkaloid plants, made by the renowned Professor-chemist from the Namangan State University, have found their application in developments of his students Abdurashid Karimov and Farhod Khoshimov. Abdurashid Karimov has created a medicine for treating deceases of liver and pancreas, while Farhod Khoshimov – the medicine for prophylaxis of anemia. Important component Enterprises located in the region know all students of the Namangan higher educational institutions, while all universities have thorough information on demands of the economy sectors in cadres ready to solve concrete tasks. It allows to train young specialists meeting the time requirements. For example, among partners of the university are 130 major enterprises and organizations. This year, 182 issues, topical for the development of production, are to be scientifically grounded. “All themes of graduation, Master’s, Candidate’s and Doctor’s theses are concerted with potential employers. Preparation for defense is the final step in the way of training of called-for specialists,” underscored the first vice-rector Sayfulla Abdullaev. The Engineering-Technological works on increasing the number of their partners. “Reorganization of our institute from engineering-economic to engineering-technological last summer turned the incentive for vigorous development of cooperation with new industrial companies,” explained the rector Odiljon Mamatov. Thus, the number of industrial companies cooperating with the institute reached 72, among new ones – Yodgor Service Savdo Ltd. “This year it is for the first time we have students in our enterprise,” says the manager Alisher Rahimov. “From the local knitted fabric we sew T-shirts for export. Business is quite prospective, that is why we started participating in training young specialists for the enterprise. By the way, many students have already demonstrated their skills by offering fresh ideas in organization of non-waste production. We will provide them with job places for sure.” International cooperation One of priority directions of development of higher education is the extension of international relations. Namangan higher educational institutions pay much attention to these issues. Currently, 9 young tutors, three students of postgraduates and one student from undergraduate course of the Engineering-Technological Institute are undergoing advanced trainings abroad – in Austria, Germany, India, Italy, Lithuania, Malaysia, Sweden. “Foreign trips contribute the widening of worldview of our specialists,” tells the head of department of the Engineering-Technological Institute Abdusamat Karimov. “After return they bring plenty of new information about latest achievements in science and technology. It is in demand in both training and scientific activity.” Namangan higher educational institutions are active participants of various projects implemented within the programs of European Erasmus Mundus, Tempus, German DAAD, British Council, Chinese Great Wall, Indian ITEC, Malaysian MTCP, and Korean KOICA. Within these projects centers are created contributing to solution of pressing issues in the field of improving the quality of education. Even more foreign partners the Namanganis acquire on the results of publication of their materials in international academic magazines. For example, recently in the International Magazine of Techniques there has been published the article of Shuhrat Azizov and Abdusamat Karimov from the Engineering-Technological Institute about the method of decreasing the number of damaged fibers acquired during refinement of raw cotton. The publication evoked greater interest in foreign specialists manifested by cooperation proposals. UT Reference The first higher education institution in Namangan was established in 1942 and today it calls the state university. In the next years, a number of branches of Tashkent universities have been established in the region. On the basis of these branches there were established two independent institutes that currently got the name of Engineering-Technological and Engineering-Pedagogical. One of the main results in the development of higher education in the region is that they train specialists for all basic sectors of the economy: farming, processing, textile and light industry, transport and building.
