The Consular Section handles almost all usual consular services: protection of interests nationals of Uzbekistan in the USA, issuance of entry visas, passports for Uzbek nationals permanently residing in the USA, authentication of documents for legal effect in Uzbekistan, notarization and registration of birth, death, marriage and divorce, etc.
The Consular Section of the Embassy of Uzbekistan is located at: 1746 Massachusetts Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20036. It is open to visitors Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (ET) when documents can be submitted for processing. If you wish to send documents for processing by mail, please enclose a self-addressed pre-paid return envelope of one of the following postal services: FedEx, USPS Priority and Express Mail. Please, be advised that the Consular Section does not send documents via U.S. Certified Mail, U.S. Registered Mail, UPS, DHL, Airborne Express and PuroLetter of Canada.
The Consular District of the Consular Section of the Embassy of Uzbekistan includes the following states:
