“UZBEKISTAN\'S SOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL POLICY DESERVES THE HIGHEST ATTENTION AND RESPECT”
A presentation, dedicated to the 23rd anniversary of the adoption of the Main Law of our country, was held in Prague.
The event was organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Czech Republic (with residence in Berlin) and the Consulate General of the Republic in Frankfurt am Main.
Participants of the presentation, representatives of public, scientific, academic and expert circles of the Czech Republic got acquainted with the basic thesis of the report of the President Islam Karimov at the solemn meeting on the occasion of the Constitution Day, the Main Law’s role and importance to strengthen the foundations of the state and the principles of civil society formation.
It was stressed that the main legal document of the country serves as a guarantor of a solid foundation of democratic reforms implemented since the early days of independence, the consistent social, economic and judicial reforms.
A vibrant cultural program and a photo exhibition, dedicated to the Year of attention and care for the older generation, the rich historical and spiritual heritage of Uzbekistan, caused keen interest of participants.
A documentary film about the unique tourist attractions in the country, the culture, traditions and customs of the Uzbek people was also demonstrated.
Vice-rector of Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, Michal Lostak noted the following in an interview with “Jahon” Information Agency:
- We welcome the development of the Czech-Uzbek relations in the cultural sphere. Good academic exchange, various educational projects, with active Uzbek students and graduate students involvement are successfully carrying out. With partners from your country, and. It should also be noted that they are distinguished by their dedication, talent and high academic performance. I am sure that your younger generation will use obtained education and skills here for benefit of the republic and further development of society.
As a sociologist, I want to note that the role of the Constitution in the life of society and the state is very high. Its democratic principles and norms are the guarantor of the rights of all your country’s citizens, more than 130 nations and nationalities live in peace and harmony on its territory.
It is noteworthy that the coming new year in Uzbekistan has been declared the Year of healthy mother and child. It is very important as a healthy motherhood and childhood determine the future of the state. We all want our children to grow up strong, educated and talented. In this context, social and educational policy, carried out in Uzbekistan, deserves high attention and respect.
